The air is languid, the cicadas sing, everything hovers for a moment before the fall. At the Dog Days we set you up right with drinks and dogs (the hot, edible kind) on the lovely patio of the Red Dog Tavern for an open mic. of stories and poems and off the cuff humour from our mc Emily Glasspool. Writers we're expecting: Gabe Forman, Slim Volumes, Dave Mowat, Kate Story, you... Come on out and bring a page or three to lay on the crowd, have a beer and a dog and enjoy all that August has to offer. |
